Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
We have been notified by the Diocese that, due to the increase in Covid variants, churches are to be closed except to necessary personnel. We understand the considerations of the Diocesan Covid Task Force, and we intend to honor their request. So, as of today, April 22nd we are requesting that people only come to the church if they absolutely have to. The door will be locked but a staff member will be around to assist you during our modified office hours (Tues – Fri 9 am – noon) so please ring the bell if you need entry into the church to drop off your offering for example. Staff will also be around at other times so please call us and any phone messages that you leave will be responded to as soon as possible. If you need to connect with a staff member please email them directly (contact info below) and they would be pleased to make arrangements to see you, perhaps for a physically distanced visit on our front lawn.
We will be continuing to livestream our Sunday services at 10 am and we are still planning on celebrating the Eucharist online once a month. We will have wafers available prior to each Eucharist Sunday – you will be able to pick them up outside the church building during the following time slots: 9-11 am on the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, plus 3-5 pm on the Saturday. If you cannot come during any of these times please call the church and we will make alternative arrangements.
