St James

St. James Anglican Church

making faithful disciples for Jesus Christ

What We Do

Welcome Mat

We encourage members to participate in regular Sunday worship services, participate in a small group or some other activity that encourages spiritual growth and to assume one area of service in support of a ministry within the church's life.

There are numerous opportunities for each person to participate in the life of St. James through worship, fellowship, service and outreach. Many of which are listed on these pages.

Small Groups

St. James is committed to being a church with small groups for all to meet the needs of all people wishing to be in a group. Our church strongly believes in Small Group life within the 'Body of Christ.'

Membership of our Small Groups is open to people of all ages and stages. We encourage people to seek regular friendship and fellowship with Christian brothers and sisters. Small groups most often meet in homes, creating a warm, secure environment for friendship, prayer, praise of God and study of God's Word to strengthen us on our faith journey. Small groups help develop a sense of community and also help us in personal discipleship.

Areas of Ministry

Many of the opportunities to participate at St. James are listed on the following pages, organized by category.
