"Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another." - Proverbs 27:17 ESV

What does it mean to be a Christian man?

With so many different voices suggesting answers to this question, we've decided to develop a new ministry at St. James to explore this important topic. And rather than simply follow the ideas of one particular speaker or one particular book, this group aims to gather together the collective experience and faith of those who attend. In this way, we expect to see men sharpening each other as we look deeply into our identity as men who follow Jesus Christ.

Meetings will be held monthly, beginning on Monday, November 3, with the next one being held on Monday, December 8. We'll start at 7:00pm with coffee & chips ready to go (and probably a few other things) and then pack it up at 9:00pm. The evening will start with a chance to catch up with each other followed by a short talk about the particular topic for discussion. After that, there will be substantial time given to talk about it so that everyone can add their voice to the mix, and then we'll come back together to wrap it up. Each evening will stand on its own, so you can drop in whenever you're able to make it without having to worry about missing something.
