The ALPHA Course
An exploration of the Christian Faith - because some questions are too BIG to ignore! Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, friendly setting.
Come and discover the answer for yourself.
This is a free program offered by your friends at St. James; free babysitting is available; desserts and beverages will be provided.

The Marriage Course
What is the Course?
The Marriage Course first began at Holy Trinity Brompton in London UK in September 1996. The course material was developed by the same organization that developed the ALPHA course.
The Marriage Course is very practical, giving married couples the tools to build strong marriages that will last a lifetime.
The course consists of seven sessions over a 10 week period. Couples spend time together talking about important issues that can get swept under the carpet in the rush of daily life.
Sessions include:
- Session 1 - Building Strong Foundations
- Session 2 - The Art of Communications
- Session 3 - Resolving Conflict
- Session 4 - The Power of Forgiveness
- Session 5 - Parents and In-Laws
- Session 6 - Good Sex
- Session 7 - Love in Action
Privacy as a couple is always respected. There is no group discussion and no requirement to disclose anything about your relationship to anyone else.
Who is the course for?
For those couples who want to work together at their relationship.
For those couples whose marriages are already strong.
For those couples who are going through difficulties.

There is no charge for this course. However, an opportunity will be given in the first session, for those who are able, to make a contribution towards the cost of the Marriage Course Manuals at $20.00 per couple.
